Back to my jottings. I’ve enjoyed the two 10 day WP photography challenges, it’s been fun. I have also created another web page attatched to this one called Joans Photography where I can post any future photos.
Family Court matters are moving slowly with 6th May set for parents and children to all met with their respective lawyers plus the ICL (independent children’s lawyer). Even though the children are with Paul the future is uncertain and unsettling for all involved. At least his Centrelink payments are coming through, plus some work days which help. Now being school holidays it gives him a chance to get the kids off to appointments and have some down time with them.
Aunty Sharon has taken a week off work and we have the boys staying here overnight. She is taking them to the movies today and they are very excited. The girls will stay tonight and go to the movies tomorrow.
Robyn has been here too. I took them both to see the spot I’ve chosen at the Crematorium for Chris’s resting place (mine as well) and they approve. So I can proceed with those arrangements.
Still waiting on word from VW dealers re:arrival of campervan into the country. When it does arrive the fit out could be delayed as they have a backlog of orders. I was only joking when I said I needed it before October!
Paul has taken on the project of making up the two blanc fishing rods that he and Chris were going to do together. They had both been out and purchased all the binding cotton, glue/varnish, handle, runners and reels. The kids found it interesting but most of the work was done at night after they had gone to bed. I must say that he did an amazing job. But I wasn’t expecting to be the recipient of the second rod. It is to have a place in the campervan.

DfGs sewing day was productive. We completed 50 kits. I have put my name down to be on the catering group to serve afternoon tea for Sing Australia next Saturday. It will raise funds for DfGs.
The Sing Australia gathering had about 200 attend. Many of the sewing ladies belong to the Wollongong group which meets every Wednesday evening. It’s a mixed group and although well structured and organised they are all about enjoying singing. We were invited to join in and encouraged to join. Very tempting.
Easter is fast approaching and tomorrow is Good Friday. I do my best to avoid embibing in Easter eggs and hot cross buns before the appropriate day. It’s a shame that the shops are diminishing the significance of Easter by flooding the market for so long preceding Easter.
Happy Easter to all the family !Busy time with everyone .Hope you have news of the van soon to begin your adventure🚐
